creating an online coaching community which will speed up the selection of investment ready SME’s and will train the chosen ones for the initial approach to investors;
developing a tailored seed fund and identifying co-investment best practices;
stimulating the participation of private and public capital.
This way MOBICAP will facilitate access to finance for MMSI and in particular for start-ups and address challenges such as the poor investment readiness in this sector. The MOBICAP consortium is led by SpaceTec Capital Partners, who have a long track record in early stage investment and coaching. Partners are: Intesa SanPaolo - one of the top ten banking groups in Europe, with long experience in start-up initiatives and venture funds; the European Alliance for Innovation (EAI) with excellent background in interdisciplinary innovation; Filas managing regional early stage funds in the Lazio Region and Wireless Industry Partnership (WIP), renowned experts in the mobile developer scene.
