Mobile Monday London and Uni­ver­sity College London (UCL Advances) have teamed up to launch The Mobile Academy, a prac­tical, 10-week / 36-hour evening pro­gram focusing on the busi­ness, design and tech­no­lo­gical aspects of devel­oping suc­cessful mobile products, ser­vices and exper­i­ences. Here, you'll learn everything from how to pitch your idea to turning it into a reality. 

Workshops are delivered from various startup professionals, as well as representatives from Nokia, Samsung, Opera, and Droidcon. 

Among the many topics covered include:

  • Finding Your Value Proposition
  • Intro on Android Eclipse
  • HTML5 & The Mobile Web
  • Creating Your Brand
  • How to Drive Traffic 
  • Intro to iOS and X-Code
  • Raising Money
  • Designing a Desirable Product

Sessions start on September 18, 2012, and will be held on Tuesday and Thursday even­ings from 6.30pm to 9pm, fin­ishing on November 22, 2012, at UCL loc­a­tions near Euston.
